Donations to the Spirit Squad
program help fund uniforms, scholarships, and travel expenses to our National
Championship. Any donation that you can make to our program will be greatly
appreciated! Our cheerleaders participate in a 9 month rigorous season that
begins in August and ends in April. The Spirit Squad supports University of
Maryland athletics at all home and away football games, all home men's and
women's basketball games, and all post season bowl games and tournaments. In
addition, the team trains throughout the year to compete at the National
Collegiate Championship in Florida. On top of their athletic and academic
responsibilities, the team also supports many campus association and community
organization at various functions and events. Please help to support these
dedicated student athletes for an exciting 2008-2009 season! Go Terps!
