Join the squad

University of Maryland Cheer FALL auditions will be held September 9, 2018 at the school of public health, College Park, MD!

The University of Maryland cheerleading squad is a unique program in that it is divided into separate teams (subject to change based on audition turnout): Golden Girls and Shell Shockers.  This allows the coaching staff to select individuals at varying levels of gymnastics and stunting ability and group them together to provide them with the best opportunity to develop their skills.
